Right click the icon on the taskbar, click inside the text box and press your hotkey. To switch windows either alt-tab or press the hotkey to disable capture mode. Yellow: WMC is enabled for capturing but window isnt active.White: WMC is not enabled for capturing.The icon will change color to indicate the status: Press your set hotkey to enable/disable capture mode. Now left click inside the window you want to specify (not on the taskbar). Right click the icon on the taskbar, click specify. However for me, simply having 2 monitors active and unused lowers the game performance significantly as soon as I disable the second monitor the game plays *flawlessly* performance wise, so I'm sticking to that. This was suggested in a reddit thread, tried it out and it works exactly as advertised. Here's a small application that locks the mouse into one window. This moves the location of your viewing screen without having to move mouse to edges of your edge monitor(s). Hint: if you do not have any units selected (e.g., left-click on an empty space on the terrain), then you can hold down right-click while moving your mouse.

That way the extra monitors on the left and on the right would be for viewing purposes only (so you see wider area of the game), and controls would remain manageable. A cool feature that might work would be 3-monitor viewing area but mouse still locked to the central monitor and map+building grid also only in the center monitor. Also if i want to scroll while having selected units, I now have to go beyond 3rd or beyond 1st monitor's edge., which means moving mouse around like crazy and lifting it off the mouse pad. Platforms: this game is created in Flash mode and you can play it just using a PC with an updated browser. Now I wouldn't have to look at the building grid if they allowed more advanced hotkeys, such as conflicting keys for basic vs advanced buildings. It's hard to look at the map in the lower right corner of 3rd monitor and the building grid on the lower left of 1st monitor. Head into the gameвЂ™s options either in game or at the start screen. Stretching to all 3 monitors via Alt-Shift-Enter is not preferred to me unless they add some options for moving around the map in the bottom strip. Thankfully, changing your video resolution in Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition is easy to do. Alt-Shift-Enter seems to work okay if i actually disable the other 2 monitors, but I shouldn't have to do that every time I want to play the damn game! I think this game is sort-of running in windowed mode even when it appears as if full-screen.

ANd performance is worse than Crysis lol.

I have 3 monitors and a monster setup with SLI'd overclocked GTX 670's plus 460 on the side for PhysX.
